1. YALPHA COURSE
(27 Jun-29 Aug, Sundays, 1.30-4.30pm @ Woodgrove)
 
 
Youth Alpha (or Yalpha - pronounced yell-far) course started 2 Sundays ago. It will be ongoing until 29 Aug. Session 2 on "Why did Jesus die?" is on this Sunday. Still not too late to come and join us, bring a friend, and have a great time of lunch, games, songs, talk and discussion.
 
2. YOUTH P&P
(17 Jul, Sat, 1.30-2.30pm @ LCGs)
 
As we have moved out of Ezekiel House for LCGs, Prayer & Praise will be decentralized to LCG level for the time being. LCGs to meet 1 hour early (1.30pm) to pray on the 3rd Sat at the homes they are meeting at. Prayer items will be distributed to LCG leaders for dissemination.
 
3. UPDATES & PRAYER

  • Youth Weekend - a big thanks to Jie and the youth worship team for leading us in worship. You can catch the sermon here if you missed it. I trust you enjoyed your Youth Day holiday. Let's continue to use this month to focus on MIAs, and re-inviting old friends and those who are not regular to join us for LCGs and even Yalpha, if they are keen.

  • No Open Sun in Aug due to Yalpha. LCGs encouraged to organise their own outings (invite your Yalpha and MIA friends).

  • Yalpha - Thank God for the 16 friends who joined us at the first Intro Lunch. Most had good feedback and response. Pray that they will commit to coming for the rest of the sessions, and that God will work in their hearts as they go through each week. Pray that they will experience Christ's love and God's presence each time they attend. Pray for perseverance, joy and wisdom for the comm and facilitators as we serve, befriend and share our lives with them.

  • Youth Camp - We have confirmed our campsite and dates (30 Nov-3 Dec). The committee has been formed and is underway in their preparations. Pray for Abel and Sarah as they lead the committee. More details coming your way!

  • Ministry evaluation - Pray for Ps Tim and the leaders as we do a Mid-year LCG and ministry evaluation. Pray for God's leading and wisdom as we begin to seek the Lord for His direction for the rest of this and next year.

  • Marcus Lim will be coming in to serve alongside in Priscilla's LCG (CSI - Sec 4). Wee Theng will be serving with Germaine & Wei Sheng's LCG (Effervescence -Sec 3).
