Many people think that discipleship is only for young Christians, but this isn't true.  Discipleship is a life transforming process, and a deepening relationship and commitment that should be evident in every Christian. Do you understand the importance of the Old Testament scriptures in the Christian life? Without a basic understanding of the OT, Christians will not appreciate fully the completeness of God's salvation plan and His plans for future ages.  The study of the Old Testament is also an imperative foundation for understanding the New Testament, since the New Testament is in the Old concealed, and the Old Testament is in the New revealed.   The Old Testament provides the historical background by which we are able to understand the New Testament and the work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

What was life really like for the earliest Christians?  When you read a Gospel story or one of Paul's letters, do you sometimes wish that you knew more about its historical or social background? In this course, we'll go on a tour of the 1st-century Greco-Roman world!  This fascinating world was the context of "daily life" for Jesus, His disciples, the Apostle Paul, and the fledgling Church.

This 10 week study teaches so much more than just about giving and tithing.  Most Christians know that God's Word teaches that we should tithe 10% of our income to God's kingdom, but we don't know what the Bible teaches about the other 90%.  This course is not about "give-to-get" but an in-depth study at what the Bible teaches about handling our finances.  You will be drawn closer in relationship to God as you learn and practice biblical financial stewardship.

This 16-week course lays a biblical and theological basis for the healing we have in Christ.  We will examine the relational nature of healing and the ministry of Jesus so we can understand inner healing and what it means to be emotionally whole. There will be practical application as you are ministered to and have the foundations laid for helping others in the healing ministry.
